    Scaling Without Burning Out

Every growing business eventually hits the same wall: growth brings complexity, chaos sneaks in, and suddenly your business is running you instead of the other way around.

The fix? A Business Operating System (BOS) — a proven framework designed to bring clarity, accountability, and alignment to your team so you can scale with confidence.

    In this session, you’ll uncover:

    • What a BOS really is and how it can simplify scaling

    • How to get your team fully aligned around your vision, values, and goals

    • Meeting rhythms and scorecards that keep everyone accountable

    • Practical tools you can implement immediately to reduce chaos and sharpen focus

Whether you’re expanding your real estate portfolio or leading another type of business, you’ll walk away with a clear, actionable framework to grow without burning out — for you and your team.

    Speaker: Caleb Zimmermann

Caleb Zimmermann is an entrepreneur based in Minneapolis, where he lives with his wife and five kids. He runs a HoldCo of Forever Companies. This includes StableOS, a company that installs Business Operating Systems for people-first companies, and is passionate about helping entrepreneurs scale their businesses in healthy, sustainable ways.

WiscoREIA’s Hudson Meeting Always Meets on the 4th Tuesday of the month from

    5:30 pm - 8:30 pm!

Hosts: Alyssa Burton & Lisa Mielke

Alyssa is an investor and agent operating in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Indiana. Founder of Inspired Investments, Inspired Realty, and Inspired Property Management LLC her businesses support her momentum in growing her real estate portfolio. Alyssa's favorite thing about real estate is that there are so many strategies and types of investments to get into. Since 2020, she has built a diverse portfolio of 70 units (give or take revolving flip projects) across various states—including single-family homes, multifamily, small apartments, Airbnb rentals and on the nonresidential front—self-storage and land.

She is dedicated to the belief that Real Estate can be used as a powerful tool to create positive change, and her greatest satisfaction is using what she has built to help do the most amount of good. Alyssa is always looking to grow and learn more and enjoys bringing like-minded individuals together.

On a personal note, Alyssa is a special needs mother and her children play a major role in what motivates and drives her, along with her faith and dedication to living out her calling and purpose. When she is not engaging in real estate-related activities you can find her chasing around her kids, volunteering, operating and collaborating with nonprofits, and advocating for the Down Syndrome community.

Lisa is a real estate agent and investment specialist serving Wisconsin and Minnesota. In 2022, she and her husband Johnathan purchased their first rental property with zero real estate experience. In less than three years, Lisa transformed from corporate engineer with a master's degree to full-time real estate investor and agent in 2025.

As an investor, she's built a portfolio of 10 rental units, and actively looking to scale, specializing in creative financing strategies that require less capital down while maintaining positive monthly cash flow- think BRRR method and seller financing. She also completes strategic flips in her local market when the numbers make sense.

As an agent, Lisa brings a fresh perspective to client service. She helps residential clients navigate the buying and selling process with clarity and confidence, often presenting sellers with creative options they never knew existed. She also partners with investors and commercial clients to identify and acquire profitable properties—leveraging the same growth-focused strategies she uses in her own portfolio.

When she's not sourcing deals, Lisa is a devoted mother who loves traveling the world, exploring new restaurants, and connecting over great coffee.

Sheriff’s sales can be a powerful opportunity for real estate investors—but only if you understand the rules, timelines, and risks involved.

This session will walk through the sheriff’s sale process from start to finish, giving you a practical overview of how these sales work and what’s required to participate successfully. You’ll learn what happens before, during, and after the sale, along with key details every investor needs to know before bidding.

    In this session, we’ll cover:

    • How sheriff’s sales work and when properties reach auction

    • Registration, bidding, and payment requirements

    • Important timelines, redemption periods, and legal considerations

    • Common mistakes investors make—and how to avoid them

Whether you’re new to sheriff’s sales or looking to sharpen your approach, this session will help you understand the process, reduce surprises, and approach auctions with greater confidence.

    Speaker: Sherry Stabenow

Sherry was born and raised in Eau Claire, WI, and has also lived in several cities across Wisconsin and Minnesota. She has over 42 years of experience in the real estate, lending, and title industry, most of which has been in title insurance, and currently works for Caliber Title.

During her career as a licensed Title Agent, Sherry was hired by Gray & Associates, which handles a significant portion of foreclosure cases in Wisconsin, to read the opening bids at sheriff’s sales and auctions. Through this experience, she gained extensive knowledge of the procedures and requirements of the sheriff’s sale process and has educated Realtors and investors on how to navigate it successfully.
