Kaaren Hall is the founder and CEO of uDirect IRA Services, LLC, a leading provider of self-directed IRAs since 2009. With 20+ years of experience in real estate, mortgage lending, and property management, she has helped thousands of investors use retirement funds to invest in alternative assets like real estate, private lending, and precious metals. Kaaren is a frequent industry speaker and has presented at BiggerPockets’ BPCON (2022–2025). She’s also the founder of OCREIA (Orange County Real Estate Investors Association) and the author of Self-Directed IRA Investing: A BiggerPockets Guide. Kaaren serves on the boards of The Council on Aging Southern California and RITA (Retirement Industry Trust Association), advocating for education and transparency in the retirement industry.
